We love our Vitamix 5200! If you are wanting to feel better this is a very flexible tool that we have come to depend on several times per day. We make our own nut butter with it (almond, cashew, peanut), hummus and guacamole blend up in seconds- 15 maybe? The best blender mayo I've ever made- again another 15 seconds of blender time (or ranch mayo :) YUM). Lots of juices of all types, warm soups- leave them in 3 to 4 minutes and the blade friction heats your veg juice into soup. Juice plus ice makes a sorbet in another 15 seconds which was important for my husband :). This machine has made making herbal drenches for my goats a snap- even garlic combo ones. Last but not least- my home grown and dried herbs are very easy to chop or powder with this mixer.... Commercial grade motor- I have not been able to get it to bog down no matter what I've done, large pitcher, and ez to clean- put in a couple cups hot water, and a drop of dish soap, buzz it. rinse, done.
